PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT SUSPENSION OF APPROVAL AND ISSUANCE OF BUILDING PLANS AND RECERTIFICATION OF LAND DOCUMENTS IN IMO STATE The Governor of Imo State, His Excellency, Senator Hope Uzodimma has approved the immediate suspension of approval and issuance of building plans and Certificate of Occupancy by relevant Government Agencies. Government of Imo State Press release Imo holds Christmas Carol, Wednesday  As part of this year's Christmas celebrations,  the Imo State Government has scheduled its Carol Service for Wednesday,  December 20, 2023.  The Christmas Service which is being organised in partnership with the State's Chapter of Christian Association of Nigeria,  will hold by noon at the expansive NDUBUISI KANU SQUARE, formerly known as Heroes Square. GOVERNOR UZODIMMA SIGNS THE 2024 BUDGET INTO LAW The Imo State Governor, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma has officially assented the 2024 Imo State Budget at the Sam Mbakwe New Exco Chambers, Government House, Owerri. GOVERNOR UZODIMMA PRESENTS THE 2024 IMO STATE BUDGET OF N592.2 BILLION TO THE STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY  The Imo State Governor, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma presented a 592.2 billion budget proposal for the 2024 fiscal year to the State House of Assembly on December 12, 2023. Governor Uzodimma disclosed that the budget, named: ‘BUDGET OF RENEWED ECONOMIC GROWTH,’ allocates less than 10% to recurrent expenditure (N100.99 billion) and the majority to capital expenditure (N491.2 billion).
