Uche Ogbuagu's political journey has reached its dead end as the Appeal Court once again upheld the victory of Hon. Engr. Akarachi Amadi in representing the people of MBAIKE in the Federal House of Representatives. Ogbuagu took the matter to court, challenging Hon. Engr. Akarachi Amadi's triumph under the All Progressive Congress (APC).

This legal battle had its origins in Hon. Engr. Akarachi Amadi's earlier success at the Electoral Petition Tribunal, where Ogbuagu's objections were dismissed. As the sole contestant in the election to contest the mandate bestowed upon Hon. Engr. Akarachi Amadi by the MBAIKE electorate, Ogbuagu faced a string of defeats in his attempt to alter the course of the people's decision.

The recent affirmation of his defeat at the Appeal Court seems to mark a potential descent into political obscurity for Uche Ogbuagu. His initial prominence in politics dates back to the era of President Goodluck Jonathan, facilitated by former Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha. However, Ogbuagu's betrayal of Ihedioha followed the latter's refusal to intervene in Ogbuagu's bid for Deputy Speaker of the Imo State Assembly.

Ogbuagu's political allegiance shifted from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the APC, where his efforts to secure Governor Hope Uzodimma's support for the MBAIKE Federal Seat proved unsuccessful. Subsequently, he made another leap into the Labour Party, culminating in the recent setback at the Appeal Court, signaling a potential conclusion to his political aspirations.

Having said that, Mbaike is better free from distractions and stands greater with the massive development Hon Akarachi is coming with. Our God is able

To God be all the glory
