Gov. Hope uzodinma flags off Afrixim Bank Quality Assurance Centre project in IMO state

Today marks a transformative milestone as we joined forces with the President of Afrexim Bank, Dr. Benedict Okey Oramah, ably represented by Mrs. Kanayo Awani, the bank's Executive Vice Chairman for Intra-African Trade and Export Development for the ground-breaking ceremony of the bank's Quality Assurance Center in Umuowa, Ngor Okpala LGA.

I extended my deepest commendation to the management of Afrexim Bank for their visionary partnership with our State. This collaboration is especially timely as the Cargo wing of Sam Mbakwe International Cargo Airport gets set for full operation, having been equipped with night landing facilities to facilitate 24/7 import and export activities.

The establishment of the Quality Assurance Center will significantly boost our local economy, creating job opportunities, and enhancing our export capabilities. It stands as a testament to our commitment to economic development and infrastructure growth, and I urge our citizens to embrace this monumental investment and recognize it as a critical step towards prosperity.

The State government remains dedicated to supporting Afrexim Bank and ensuring the success of this partnership towards unlocking new potentials and drive sustainable growth in our State.

- Hope Uzodimma
