Today marks a transformative milestone as we joined forces with the President of Afrexim Bank, Dr. Benedict Okey Oramah, ably represented by Mrs. Kanayo Awani, the bank's Executive Vice Chairman for Intra-African Trade and Export Development for the ground-breaking ceremony of the bank's Quality Assurance Center in Umuowa, Ngor Okpala LGA.  I extended my deepest commendation to the management of Afrexim Bank for their visionary partnership with our State. This collaboration is especially timely as the Cargo wing of Sam Mbakwe International Cargo Airport gets set for full operation, having been equipped with night landing facilities to facilitate 24/7 import and export activities. The election petitions tribunal sitting in Abuja has dismissed the petition of the PDP candidate, Senator Samuel Anyanwu, against  governor Hope Uzodimma of the APC, for lack of merit. The judgement given a few minutes ago was unanimous

GOVERNOR UZODIMMA RECEIVES  COUNCIL OF SOUTHERN TRADITIONAL RULERS  Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State warmly welcomed the Council of southern traditional rulers in a historic meeting aimed at fostering unity and addressing regional issues. IMO STATE GOVERNMENT SHOWS SUPPORT FOR IMSU JUNCTION ACCIDENT VICTIMS The Imo State Government has visited victims of the recent accident that occurred at Imo State University junction. The team which was led by the Deputy Governor of Imo State, Lady Mrs. Chinyere Ekomaru (PhD), expressed sympathy and concern for the victims currently receiving medical attention at the Federal Medical Center, Owerri. According to the Chief Medical Director of Federal Medical Center, there were 13 accident victims, 2 were brought in dead and the rest of the victims have been stabilized with some booked for surgery.  This gesture underscores the state government's dedication to the welfare and care of its citizens, especially in times of need. #HopeNewAndElectronicMediaCenter
