IMO STATE GOVERNMENT SET TO PARTNER WITH THE BANK OF INDUSTRY

The Government of Imo State, led by His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma, has announced plans to forge stronger partnership with the Bank of Industry (BoI) in a bid to foster economic growth and development in the state.

This announcement was made during a courtesy visit by the management team of the Bank of Industry, led by their Managing Director and CEO, Dr. Olasupo Olusi, to Gov. Hope Uzodimma at the Government House, Owerri.

Governor Uzodimma emphasized that the collaboration aimed to improve access to financial resources for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), drive industrialization and create job opportunities for the people of Imo, particularly the youths and women.

The Governor highlighted the potential for growth among local businesses in Imo State and restated his commitment to providing support to help them thrive.

While giving his remarks, the Bank’s CEO/MD, Dr Olusi expressed their dedication to strengthening their relationship with the Imo State Government and supporting the state's economic development programs. He lauded Governor Uzodimma for providing financial support packages and other economic assistant interventions to business owners in the state.
